THE BEST RESOURCE FOR PARENTS

As the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation, Parent Teacher Association (PTA) reminds our country of its obligations to children and provides parents and families with a powerful voice to speak on behalf of every child while providing the best tools for parents to help their children be successful students.

PTA does not act alone. Working in cooperation with many national education, health, safety, and child advocacy groups and federal agencies, the PTA organization collaborates on projects that benefit children and that bring valuable resources to its members.

Arizona PTA Honorary Life Membership

A special way to honor two very special people:

Honorary Life Recipient

Student Scholarship Recipient

Give the award of a lifetime. Give the Arizona PTA Honorary Life Membership  -the highest honor from the Nations largest child advocacy organization—to the person who daily lives out his or her commitment to children. Complete form or call (602) 279-1811  to submit your request.

Giving an Arizona PTA Life Membership

Any Local PTA Unit or Council in Arizona may bestow an Honorary Arizona PTA Life Membership on a deserving person.

An honoree need not be a member of the PTA nor be well known beyond his or her own area of service.

PTAs often make the presentation of an Honorary Arizona PTA Life Membership a highlight at the State Convention in June or their last program of the school year. Any time is appropriate for the awarding of this honor. There’s no need to wait for a special occasion. To request an Honorary Arizona PTA Life Membership you may send the

attached coupon along with the required payment to the Arizona PTA. Upon receipt of your request we will issue an Honorary Arizona PTA Life Certificate, and an attractive Life Membership pin. These items are sent according to the directions accompanying your request. This membership is an honorary one and does not carry voting privileges.

Choosing Your Honoree

Because the Honorary Arizona PTA Honorary Life Membership is the highest honor of the state, second only to the National PTA Life Achievement Award, it is an especially significant way to honor someone who has given outstanding service to children, someone who has promoted children’s well being by serving as an advocate in such areas as education, health, safety, and legislation. Think of the people whom your PTA might like to honor with an Arizona PTA Life Membership, people who care about children and have made their caring count by their devoted service to

children and youth.
