The General Effective Date for the 57th 2nd Regular Session is September 12, 2026.

In the context of PTA, advocacy is supporting and speaking up for children—in schools, in communities, and before government bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children.

Arizona PTA President supports Proposition 212

"As a mother of two, I have had many of my most joyful moments watching my children discover their true potential within the public education system: experiencing wins and overcoming obstacles.  As President of the Arizona PTA, I get to play a role in the success of so many others.  Sharing resources, stepping up, finding ways to support teachers when they're asked to do more with less, and helping others learn how to advocate for public education, which benefits everyone.  The PTA partners with public schools to build communities that strengthen our state and nation.

Public dollars are responsible for providing public access and accountability, which is what Arizona PTA stands for.  Arizona PTA supports the use of ESAs for those truly in need, and with comprehensive oversight of the program to reduce fraud.

Enough is enough.  Every child, one voice.  There are more than one million students in Arizona's public education system who need our voice and vote.  Please, vote YES on Prop 212."
