Anna King
National PTA President
Anna King has over 20 years of leadership experience at all levels of PTA, including Oklahoma PTA president and National PTA vice president of membership. She is the 57th president of National PTA.
Currently, Anna is the secretary for Frederick A. Douglass High School PTSA in Oklahoma City and is a board member of the Douglass Law and Public Safety Academy. She loves volunteering at the high school in her community and working beside students as they use their voices to create change and make an impact.
Outside of her PTA service, Anna is also involved in many community activities. She is the Oklahoma Moms Demand Action School Safety co-leader and member of the WestEd Advisory Board, Equity Advisory for the Oklahoma State Department of Education and Kiwanis Club of South Oakland County.
Anna feels strongly that being an inclusive association is the key to better serving students, families and communities across the country. Under her leadership, PTA will focus its work in three key areas: growth in mission and membership, leadership development and organizational effectiveness. These areas will have an emphasis on diversity, equity and inclusion for justice; the PTA brand—which includes culture and communications for a new era; and advocacy for impact at all levels.
Anna believes that it’s a heart for servant leadership that inspires people to do noble work that calls for them to offer the best of themselves, through humility and courage. She also believes that ALL children deserve to learn in a safe and welcoming environment, no matter who they are or where they come from.
Anna and her husband Glenn have a family-owned mobile catering business. She is a mother of three—Annalishia, Anthony and Glenn II—and a proud Nana of 11 grandchildren.

Denise is a married mom of (3) school-age firecrackers, humorist, illustrator & a lifelong entrepreneur who lives the life she serves.
In 1999, at the age of 28, she founded & later sold her first company, a personalized social stationery business. After selling, she took “time off” to start her family but continued to license her humor & illustrations to companies like American Greetings & Trader Joe’s, in between play dates & diaper changes.
In 2016, just weeks after delivering her 3rd (& final) child, Denise launched an organizational stationery company with a single product, the Reminder Binder® Planner. What started on her kitchen table then, is now a multi-million dollar company powered by a small but mighty team of women who help bring to life products that serve the needs of women seeking more balanced lives. Every product is thoughtfully designed to help streamline tasks to create more joy and less stress in our everyday lives.
Carly Adams
Tidy Revival
Carly Adams is a home organizer and owner of Tidy Revival, based in Sacramento, CA. She helps her clients and students get organized at home, through one-on-one work, and in her course community, the Clutter-Free Home Process.
Tidy Revival uses decluttering as the foundation of everything they do. Carly focuses on teaching small, easy action steps that fit into your existing schedule to create lasting organizational systems that others in your household can help upkeep. Carly believes firmly that organization is a learned skill because she grew up chronically disorganized in nearly every aspect of her life. Through hundreds of hours of research and implementing systems along the way, she found so much peace and simplicity in her day-to-day routines that she wanted to teach others to do the same. In 2017 Tidy Revival was born.
These days, Carly is a self-proclaimed “organizational nerd” that loves to geek out on the topic regularly on the Tidy Revival Blog. When she’s not working, she can be found relaxing at home, collecting houseplants, snuggling her dog Gimli and enjoying takeout with her husband Corey.
